Henry Suspended Only Two Games - Vows to Break Odell Thurman's Record by End of Season

Jesus F. Christ am I sick of this story.

To the surprise of absolutely no one, Chris Henry was suspended for two games by the NFL for violations of the league's drug policy and its personal conduct policy.

So much has been written about the Bengals' apparent personality problems that I don't feel the need to delve into it further.

We all know that Henry can show some occasional brilliance on the football field, but is it worth it? Let me put it this way: if you were running the Bengals, and someone offered you a middle to lower tier WR right now for him, would you take the deal? Yeah, me too.

Nuff said.

I would maybe trade Henry for a defensive player (especially someone that could stop the run) but not another WR.

No way. Is he embarrassing? Sure. But when this guy puts on his pads, he creates the best mismatches in the league as a #3.

It's a valid point to make that his actions off the field will void him of playing time in three games.

However, last season, he was a perfect citizen. The story of housing nearly 20 people (mostly family) from New Orleans should be pointed out. This kid is young and impressionable. His actions are embarrassing.

In the end, this guy makes great plays.

(A disclaimer: however, if this continues past this season and he doesn't reform, then yea, I agree to let him go)

Just my .02.

I feel you, Josh, but what good is a player that doesn't play? the point I was making is that even an average WR is better than Henry right now, since he's not playing.

I too love it when Henry balls on the field, but when we depend on him to relieve the pressure on Chad and TJ, and then he can't play, he really hurts this team.
